Established in 1968 as a small machine shop for requirements of factories of the neighborhood, Ashoka Machine Tools Corporation has ever since grown into a multi-functional company expanding its supply range to a wide variety of heavy industrial equipment, custom made spares, large open gearing and enclosed drives, process machinery as well as undertaking EPC contracts of turnkey projects primarily in the field of cement, sugar and steel.

STRENGTH

The company comprises of a dedicated and talented team of over 200 skilled professionals including engineers, design draftsman, business management graduates and certified machine operators, maintenance and assembly line fitters, instrumentation and electrical experts, welders, grinder men, process experts etc.

MACHINE SHOP

A modern and well laid out workshop spread over multiple bays and overhead cranes having a variety of machines and machine tools mainly of European and American brands. A wide range of products are manufactured including – custom made machines and assemblies, plant spares, open gearing and drive parts, rolls and shafts, mill headers, riding rings and tyres, support rollers mill stands and various types of assemblies and sub-assemblies. The machine shop is connected to the fabrication shop for immediate transfer of parts.

FABRICATION SHOP

A fully equipped fabrication shop with all major type of welding techniques and methods is available. A variety of equipment and parts are fabricated for various industrial spheres. Custom made equipment and parts including ball mills, sag mills, rotary kilns, vertical kilns, attrition mills, hydro power equipment, lime kiln process equipment, material handling parts/equipment- portals, stacker reclaimer parts, barrel reclaimers, bogies, structures, ducts and chutes, pressure vessels and storage silos etc. are all fabricated under the same roof.

PROJECT SUPPLY

ASHOKA undertakes EPC contracts & project supply on a turnkey or semi turnkey basis mainly for the cement, sugar and steel aggregate industries. In addition to supply of a complete production line we also provided pre feasibility (PFR) and detailed project engineering services (DPR), site installation and commissioning services of equipment supplied by us.
