At Ashoka, manufacturing is spread over an area of 4 acres of land and comprise of modern facilities of equipment fabrication, welding, assembly, machine shops, testing, stores, packaging, dispatch and administration. These together provide complete and self efficient facilities for medium and heavy fabrication needs.
The machining capability is extensive and includes heavy floor/horizontal borers, milling machines, vertical turret lathes, large capacity gear hobbing machines, automatic plate cutting and welding equipment. Lifting capacity extends from a few kilograms to 75 MT using electric overhead cranes.
Principal activities consists of planning, designing, manufacturing, testing, erecting and commissioning of sugar plants, cement plants and steel rolling plants. A variety of customized spares for plants under operation are also manufactured.
Heavy Fabrication
ASHOKA offers a convenient combination of a heavy fabrication and machining under the same roof.
Equipment fabrication is carried out as per international welding procedures (WPS as per IS, BS, ASME) and material standards as per customer drawings and using special purpose modern welding equipment of various types including Profiles Cutters, SAW/ARC/MIG/TIG welding machines, bending and rolling machines, special holding and rotating equipment for efficient welding, surface treatment (shot/sand blasting), heat treatment etc. The fabricated equipment can be finish machined in house using our machine tools installed at the machine shop. ASHOKA has a lifting and handling capacity of 75 MT single piece.
Turnkey Project Supply
In addition to its equipment supply ASHOKA is also a turnkey project undertaker, a complete solution provider with specialization in the field of supplying small to medium scale cement plants and sugar plants.
System solutions and supply of a limited type of fertilizer plants and steel rolling mills is also offered under the same roof. ASHOKA undertakes activities relating to pre-feasibility study, system & design engineering, equipment manufacturing, sub-contracting and supply, erection & commissioning of supplied plant & equipment, post commissioning services such as training & operational management etc. thereby offering a total solution to our valued customer.
